How to Prepare

There are a few simple steps that you can take to ensure that you get the most benefit from your session.

  • Spend the 24 hours before your session drinking plenty of fluids. Well hydrated tissues move more easily.

  • Do not perform strenuous exercise immediately before or after your massage. This is a time for you to rest and nourish your hard working body.

  • Avoid eating a heavy meal directly before or after a massage. When digesting, blood is drawn from the muscles to aid in the process. We want to encourage blood INTO the muscles.

  • Please turn your cell phone OFF. In a world so constantly connected, the active choice to disconnect can be liberating.
